SPECIFICATIONS
Mining and transportation of coal as bulk cargo are complicated by two main problems: dusting and freezing. It is not just about the environmental aspects of the operation of industrial enterprises, but also about the safety of employees and the community in the immediate vicinity of places of coal storage and transportation.
The product binds coal particles, prevents the coal dust from formation and going airborne, thus eliminating the risk of coal dust explosion. The preventive agent does not evaporate from the treated surface, is resistant to UV rays, highly hygroscopic, maintains the dust-suppression effect of treatment for several times longer compared to the service water.
General description
The preventive agent is a specially calculated water-soluble formula based on aqueous solutions of calcium, magnesium and sodium chloride salts with the addition of natural polymers, surfactants and glycols.
Application
This preventive agent is intended to prevent dusting and freezing of coal during its transportation and handling by an open method at ambient temperatures below 0 °C. It is used to treat walls and floors of railcars to prevent the freezing of coal to the surfaces, and to eliminate dusting during movement of transport on haulage roads and to the sites of coal mining.
Depending on parameters and application conditions, four grades are available: ASP-K, ASP-M, ASP-V and AP.
